Pirates go above and beyond in search for treasure and fortune.

In Piratas! 2 to 6 players will take the role of pirate ship captains

looking for treasures throughout the ocean. In that quest they can

plunder, pile, and wage warfare. Gathering 5 treasures, you must

be aware to avoid being plundered and finally be recognized as the

great legend of the 7 seas.

In Piratas!, the goal is to start your turn with 5 or more

treasure cards in your hand. If that happens, not taking

any other actions, the player must reveal his/her treasure

cards. The player is then declared the legend of the seven

seas.

Set the deck up following the previous table. Next,

give each player a playmat. These are the players’

ships. Shuffle the deck and give each player 5

cards. The remaining cards are left on the

centre of the table, facing down, on reach

for every player, making a central deck.

inside any water vessel is the first

In his/her turn, a player MUST take two actions. These actions can

be any combination of the following:

Draw a card: A player takes the top card of the central deck and

places it in his/her hand.

Obs.: If, by the end of the player’s turn, he/she has more than 7 cards in his/her hand,

he must discard cards until his/her hands get to seven cards. He may choose which

cards to discard.

Play a card: The player chooses a card from his/her hand and

abiding the rules for it. See below:

cxxTesouro TREASURE CARDS – Treasure cards cannot be played or discarded by any player.

These cards are strictiassure victory on the match. By starting the turn with 5 or more

treasures in hand, a player is declared winner.

xxResolucao INSTANT RESOLUTION CARDS– Instant resolution cards are played directly to the

discard pile and the effect is immediately resolved.

xxTripulacaox CrewaCREW CARDS – Crew Cards are played to the marked space in players playmat.

Their effects are only active when in play, never in hand. Players can play Crew Cards

for themselves or in their opponents playmat, provided there is room for it.

Obs.: Each player has only 2 spaces for Crew Cards.

xxShip VESSEL CARDS – Vessel Cards, as well as Crew Cards, are played to the player’s

playmat. Each Vessel has an unique habilit that will help players achive their goal.

Vessel Cards have Hit Points. Every time a player loses a combat, its Vessel takes one

damage. When the Vessel takes 3 damage it is destroyed and discarded. If there are

any cards under the destroyed Vessel, those cards retuirn to its owners hand after the

full resolution of the combat.

Obs.: Each player may have only ONE Vessel Card.

Obs2.: Players may play a new Vessel Card even if they already have one in play. The

previous Vessel Card is discarded and the new one is played with full Hit Points.
