A mad scientist named Dr Foo has built an unstable time machine, the Omniscience 2000, and is using it to hop between seven great Eras of history, spawning duplicates of himself and tearing open rifts in spacetime.
Those rifts are slowly shredding reality itself. If too many pile up on one Era, it turns into a Vortex, and if the universe accumulates too many Vortexes, everything is destroyed and the players lose together. Yes, the LOOP is a coop game! Standing in Dr Foo’s way is a ragtag squad of Time Agents, you and the other players, armed with a personal deck of quirky "Artifact”.
Each Agent's turn feels like a little adventure of its own. You hop from Era to Era, spending your Energy to move, then dip into you hand of cards to patch up rifts, take down Foo’s duplicates, or scrounge up more energy for later. With every turn that ticks by, Dr Foo grows bolder, spinning off more duplicates and hurling rifts into the timeline, forcing you and your team to stay one step ahead or watch the universe collapse.
Like in most coop games, there is one way to win and multiple ways to lose. Success means the team puts away four sabotaged pieces and therefore save spacetime, closing with a triumphant "K.U.D.O.S!" from headquarters and, well, some XP, but that’s a BGA exclusive... Failure means the Agency's wall of shame gains new names, and the universe quietly ceases to exist. NO PRESSURE… but… EVERYTHING DEPENDS ON YOU!
You’ll have a Designated Instructor accompanying you through the tutorial if you want to get acquainted with how to defeat Dr Foo and his terrible time machine. Otherwise, the first time portal is waiting for you.

Nori znanstvenik po imenu dr. Foo je zgradil nestabilni časovni stroj, Vsevednost 2000, in ga uporablja za preklapljanje med sedmimi velikimi zgodovinskimi obdobji, pri čemer ustvarja dvojnike sebe in odpira razpoke v prostor-času.
Te razpoke počasi trgajo samo resničnost. Če se jih v eni eri nabere preveč, se spremeni v vrtinec, in če se v vesolju nabere preveč vrtincev, je vse uničeno in igralci skupaj izgubijo. Da, LOOP je zadružna igra! Dr. Foou na poti stoji raznovrstna ekipa časovnih agentov, vi in drugi igralci, oboroženi z osebnim kompletom nenavadnega "Artefakta".
Vsaka poteza agenta se zdi kot majhna pustolovščina zase. Skačete iz ere v ero, pri čemer porabljate svojo energijo za premikanje, nato pa sežete v roko kart, da zakrpate razpoke, odstranite Foojeve dvojnike ali zberete več energije za kasneje. Z vsako potezo, ki mine, dr. Foo postaja vse drznejši, ustvarja več dvojnikov in meče razpoke v časovnico, kar vas in vašo ekipo sili, da ste korak pred drugimi ali pa opazujete, kako se vesolje sesuva.
Kot v večini kooperativnih iger, obstaja en način za zmago in več načinov za poraz. Uspeh pomeni, da ekipa odstrani štiri sabotirane figure in s tem prihrani prostor-čas, zaključi pa z zmagoslavnim "POŠTOVANJE!" iz štaba in, no, nekaj XP, ampak to je ekskluzivno za BGA ... Neuspeh pomeni, da zid sramu Agencije dobi nova imena in vesolje tiho preneha obstajati. BREZ PRITISKA ... ampak ... VSE JE ODVISNO OD VAS!
Če se želite seznaniti s tem, kako premagati dr. Fooja in njegov grozni časovni stroj, vas bo skozi vadnico spremljal določeni inštruktor. Sicer pa vas čaka portal za začetnike.
