Refreshing sometimes helps when a screen won't allow actions but this time it messed up my game play and I had to wait an extra turn to complete my recipe.

using the chef token can only be done in 1 turn and there is no undo. This how the publisher whats it to work, like in the real game.
However when you switch the a different vegietype and this gives all veggies for a recipe you should be able to cook it by selecting the appropriate dice.
Do you have a screenshot of this?
No problems occured with previously played games.

In game 621671156 around turn 50, it reverted mid-turn after my next action (cook) and did not allow me to cook my second recipe.

I changed the ingredient from tomato to carrot, and my hyper card still wasn't working. When I refreshed, my tomato reverted back and I was unable to use the chefs token.

So it is not a bug that the changed veggie reverts back on a refresh? I understand not wanting to allow the chefs token to be used again, but if it marks the token as used the change should remain too, no?

CHEF token is ONLY avaialable in the same turn without refresh.
This is how the publisher wants it to work.
So don't use it when you cannot cook after the change; Thats basically it.

Can you confirm with the publisher that this is how they want it to work? If you use a chef's token the change should stay or the token should be given back. Taking the token and then reverting changes when a player passes seems like a bad game design.

In my case I used chef's token, and the recipe *was* possible, as was a hype. Interface would not allow the play. 14 points lost.
