I wanted to play ability several ability tiles during my turn to maximize movement. According to the rulebook "In addition to your movements, and anytime during the Action phase, you may use as many Ability tiles as you wish by discarding them to apply their effect." Both "movements" and "use abilities" are part of the Action phase. However the game would not let me use abilities until after I had moved all my movements.

The game did allow me to click on the ability tile, but would then not let me select anything to interact with. I tried with several different tiles to accomplish this goal:
Dive - couldn't select monsters
Dolphin - couldn't select my meeples
Creature die - it wouldn't let me role the die

Did you notice that playing a tile asks for a confirmation before being played ?
You can't restart a turn when you've confirmed playing a tile.

There was no confirmation option. There was a banner at the top that indicated I was allowed to play tiles or move my meeples, but the only thing I could click up there was "Reset."
